You are Valuable

It’s hard to believe sometimes that everybody has value. Maybe you don’t feel like you have value. Has somebody told you that you’re no good? Has somebody said you are worthless? There is life and death in the power of the tongue. So if somebody says it enough, you’re going to start believing it.
I’ve met people that society would say has no value. I know of one particular person that is loud, selfish, picks on people, is disruptive, steals things from stores and church no less. Yet I know she has value. How do I know? God says that not only are we created in His image, but we are more valuable that the sparrows of the earth. That doesn’t sound very exciting, but think of it this way. If God is so willing to take care of the birds of the earth and provide food for them, He says how much more will he provide you who are His children? In regards to this person I mentioned … I told them once I really appreciated who they were. This person has a long way to go (don’t we all?). They need to work on living right, doing right and getting right with God. But their value? One way (among others) is that person teaches us how to love. We don’t want to love a person like that. But God uses people like that to help us learn how to love the unlovable.
As long as you still have life in your breath, you have value. You have a purpose. You have value. God will show you if you want to know.
