You are Beautiful

David says in the Psalms, “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” What you speak over yourself (or what somebody else speaks over you) has power. If somebody has told you that you are ugly or dumb, or any thoughts along those lines, eventually you’re going to live that out. Eventually, you are going to start believing that and start saying it about yourself. Don’t take this the wrong way, but STOP! Stop now. You’re words have power. The bible says, “the power of life and death is in the tongue”. Whatever you speak out will bring either life or death.
I look at this girl: http://metro.co.uk/2015/04/03/hayley-okines-girl-with-premature-aging-disease-dies-aged-17-5133532/. She was battling a disease that prematurely ages her. She wasn’t expected to live past the age of 13. She lived to be 17. She had such a great outlook on life. She didn’t let her disease define her. Society would say she was ugly. But she believed she was beautiful. She believed in life, she spoke life, she believed she was beautiful and as a result change the lives of many people.
You can have what society calls a beautiful face, yet be so ugly on the inside. You can have what society calls an ugly face, yet be so beautiful on the inside. What’s inside really does shine through. You have to believe in life. You have to start believing that God created you and you are wonderfully made. Not only do you have to believe it, you have to speak it. Right now, speak it. It’s ok, I’ll wait, haha. Say it! I am fearfully and wonderfully made! God created me in his own image! Say it every day if you have to. Once you start speaking it, you’ll eventually start believing it.
Remember, You Are Beautiful!
