You Are Loved

It’s so easy to feel alone in the world. Even when people are around, you can still feel alone. You feel like nobody sees you. I have a wife, kids, mother, father, friends … all whom I know love me. But it doesn’t feel that way sometimes. Sometimes, no matter what you do, no matter what your circumstances, you feel alone, like nobody loves you.
Maybe your circumstances are different. Maybe you don’t have any family. Maybe there is no mother, father, spouse or other relative that you’re connected with. Believe it or not, somebody does love you. God loves you. John 3:16 says “for God so love the world … “. As simple as that sounds, that includes you.
Also, the body of Christ (the church) loves you. It’s amazing what a community of believers can do together. A community of believers who are whole heartedly for Christ can change the world. I’ve seen young teens kicked out of their own house yet still find hope and a home in church. I’ve seen people who are living in sin according to the church still find hope and love in the church because of real people loving each other.
As hard as it is sometimes, you have to keep telling yourself … you are loved. God loves you and wants what’s best for you. As long as you have breath on this earth, you have a purpose on this earth. To me, the best place to find it is in the church.
